    Eyelash extensions aftercare

    • Refrain from picking at them. If they look out of place, just give them a quick brush. Treat them gently with care.

    • Avoid hot steamy showers and water for the first 24 Hours.

    • Try not to sleep on them, sleep on your back to ensure that the glue isn’t tampered with.

    • Stay away from chlorinated pools and heat treatments such as steam rooms, saunas and sunbeds for at least 24 hours, as this is the time that the lashes need for proper bonding.

    • Avoid oil-based eye makeup and makeup remover. This is so that the oil does not break down the glue that keeps the lashes secured to the lid.

    • Give your lashes the TLC they need by washing them gently with shampoo a few times a week. Again, this is to break down the oils that could potentially cause your lashes to detach from the lid by interfering with the glue. This can be purchased at your appointment.

    • The area will start to scab over very slightly and then begin to flake off, you will lose around 30-50% of the colour implanted over the next 7 days and after the first treatment they can be quite patchy and faded looking. The true colour will not come through until up to 4 weeks after the initial treatment.

    • During the healing process, the colour may seem to have disappeared as it is obscured by the healing skin. Under no circumstances should you have further permanent cosmetic work undertaken during the 4-week period.

  • Yes, absolutely. A second treatment will need to be carried out 6 to 8 weeks after the initial tattoo, this is a free of charge appointment.

After this people usually come back 12-18 months for a colour Boost. Lighter colours fade faster so if you are blonde or your skin is oily/combined your retouches will generally be annually.

  • Immediately after your procedure, the healing process begins. You may initially experience redness, skin sensitivity, and possibly some minor swelling.

The appearance of your new Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU) will be brighter and thicker than the healed result. Usually after about: 4-7 days for eyebrows, 3 days for lips,

The area and top layer starts flaking off. When the flakes peel off during the first days, these zones will look really faint or even disappear and during next 2 weeks the Permanent Makeup will look brighter. As the tattoo flaking and shedding occurs, you may feel tempted to rub, scratch, or scrub. Please, keep calm and do not touch your new SPMU.

You will come for your 6-8 Week top up and the process repeats.
